Apparently all you need is a blue t-shirt to steal £11,000 worth of iPhones from an Apple Store.

That’s what a man did in Manhattan when he posed as staff to swipe 19 iPhones, reports Business Insider UK.

Local police said the thief wore a blue t-shirt similar to the ‘genius’ team on June 1.

He walked straight into an electronics repair room and snatched a bundle of iPhones from a drawer, worth $16,130 (£11,314).

He then handed them over to another thief who stashed them under his shirt.

They both walked out of the shop in SoHo without being stopped.

Police are still looking for the culprits.
