In what we can only begin to describe as strange, a now former teacher from Mexico was fired after video of her twerking went viral.

The teacher, only known as Clarissa, was video taped in a dance contest where she used her booty to do most of the talking. She ended up winning the contest and taking home about $260.

However the dancing also cost her her job.

According to RT, “When Clarissa returned home, she said she was forced to meet with the head of the school and a lawyer, who instructed her to resign so as to “cool things down.””

So should she have been fired? That’s the debate we’ll have to have now.
