Madonna, Brit Awards 2015

During a performance of her song “Living for Love” at the 2015 Brit Awards, Madonna fell backwards down a set of three stairs after one of her backing dancers appeared to accidentally pull on her cape. The pop star landed on her back, but later confirmed she was just fine.

Sarah Hyland, Teen Choice Awards 2015

At this year’s Teen Choice Awards, Sarah Hyland took to the stage to present the first award of the night only to trip and fly across the platform. She managed to save herself, but not before cursing her misfortune. The Modern Family actress quickly covered her mouth and laughed, telling the audience, “I do that sometimes, guys. I’m awkward.”

The Edge, Rogers Arena 2015

U2 was in the middle of performing “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” when guitarist, The Edge, accidentally walked off the walkway. The rest of the band continued to play while he was quickly helped up by security guards. He later joked on Instagram, “‘Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!! #U2ieTour.”

Harry Styles, Qualcomm Stadium 2015

At a One Direction concert in San Diego this summer, Harry Styles suffered a major slip on stage while the band was singing “Through the Dark.” The singer tried to break his fall using the mic stand, but ultimately landed on the ground. He quickly shook it off and laughed alongside the audience.
