Dubai is never one to shy away from dramatic and headline-grabbing architecture, and the city’s latest plan is to 3D print a 2,000 sq ft office building, creating it layer by layer using a 20ft printer.
The printing will take place off site and then brought to the chosen location, which will be near the city’s Museum of the Future and will serve as their temporary HQ.
It will only take a few weeks to assemble once they have the component parts. And as well as 3D printing the pod-like structures they also plan to 3D print the interior furniture, detailing, and structural components.
