Well, this is definitely true for football super fan Bjorn Serigstad Ege, from Norway.
The ecstatic supporter and farmer could barely speak after his local team escaped relegation in a nail-biting finish.
His post-match interview has become the stuff of legends on the internet, but it didn’t necessarily win him any points with his partner.
“If my wife is watching, she has to milk the cows, I’m off to the pub,” he told local media.
So far the clip has racked up hundreds of thousands of clicks online, with many wondering how Bjorn faired when he got home.
Would he end up in the dog house or the cow shed?
It has since been revealed that after a night full of celebration, and a gut full of beer, Bjorn was forced to get up early and milk the cows.
